Our commitment to reconciliation, learning and truth telling continues with our Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan.

Our service hubs at Flinders Street and Southern Cross Stations and our head office in Naarm (Mellbourne CBD) operate on Wurundjeri Country. Our other sites are located on Wadawurrung Country (Ballarat) and Taungurung Country (Seymour). We have First Nations people as part of our workforce and as service users. Learning more about First Nations Peoples, their culture and the impact colonialism has had, is an important part of our journey towards reconciliation.

Travellers Aid is committed to reconciliation, and we are conscious that this is a journey of pro-active and meaningful steps and actions. Our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) was endorsed by Reconciliation Australia in late 2022. We are now in the process of implementing it with a focus on increasing our understanding and recognition of First Nations cultures and histories and building relationships. The entire workforce has been invited to participate in training and events and encouraged to share their experiences and contribute to our RAP working group.
