Travellers Aid Australia
Travellers Aid Australia23 hours ago
Soon after Travellers Aid was formed in 1916, we took up a permanent space at Spencer Street Station, now called Southern Cross Station.

In 2018, our staff and volunteers continue to meet country travellers from buses and trains at Southern Cross station just as the founders of Travellers Aid envisaged 100 years ago.

The book ‘We are All Travellers’ looks back on a changing Melbourne over the past 100 years and has deeply personal stories and beautiful historical images sourced mainly from the TAA archives and public records.

The book is a wonderful gift and must-have for anyone who enjoys reflecting on the history of our society. Order your copy online at https://www.travellersaid.org.au/shop/we-are-all-travellers-book Price $44.95 (including postage and handling)

Alternatively, purchase a copy from one of our helpful staff when next you are visiting our Flinders Street or Southern Cross Station lounge rooms.
