Thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket or table to participate in our annual trivia night fundraiser.
This year we were grateful to our venue sponsors at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for hosting us. Finding a truly accessible venue in Melbourne CBD is not without it’s challenges and as we feature in the Victorian Convention and Event Trust (VCET) Accessibility Action Plan, we had confidence that this would be a great venue – and it was.
We would also like to acknowledge the incredible sponsors who, time and time again, step up to make this event possible: our Platinum Sponsor, V/Line; and our Gold Sponsors, Kinetic Buses and Yarra Trams. We would also like to thank the many wonderful businesses that donated items to our online and live auctions.
By participating in the event whether as a sponsor, donor or participant, you have helped raise more than $20,000 for Travellers Aid! All funds go towards expanding our services and programs. These initiatives enable people with diverse needs to travel across Victoria’s public transport network, attend events, and actively participate in their communities.
Congratulations to our Trivia Champions, The Depot Babies! Planned Disruptions came in second, while third place took a few extra questions, a tie-break and perhaps a little luck before landing with HELW Lawyers & Peter Gluskie’s table.
