Buggy Service

Travellers Aid operate year round buggy services at Southern Cross Station Melbourne and Seymour Station in regional Victoria with an additional service near Richmond Station in operation during major events at the MCG. Travellers Aid buggy services are available at no cost to anyone with limited mobility.

Southern Cross Station and Seymour Station buggy bookings must be made 24 hours in advance to ensure you are met from your car, train, bus, airport transfer or taxi platform. If you are commencing your onward journey at Southern Cross Station, the buggy service also leaves from the Travellers Aid lounge and will ensure you are on time for your connecting service.

No bookings are required for the MCG Buggy Transfer Service which commences 2 hours prior to kick off and runs from Brunton Avenue, Richmond Station and Jolimont Station to the MCG. A return buggy service is available for 30 minutes after the final whistle.

Southern Cross Station

Southern Cross Station is Melbourne’s largest public transport hub. Servicing both metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria it has 16 train platforms, a bus depot, airport transfers, a taxi rank and several tram stops right at its doorstep.

Travellers Aid provides a free Buggy Service to assist people with mobility needs who are transiting through Southern Cross Station.

Our buggies operate 7 days a week meeting and assisting passengers as they can connect with other modes of transport on their journey.

Buggy Service
Seymour Railway Station

Seymour Railway Station is a transport hub and bus interchange in regional Victoria. It has 3 train platforms that are a minimum of 200m from the car park and bus stops via a wheelchair accessible access tunnel.

Travellers Aid provides a free Buggy Service to assist people with mobility needs who are transiting through Seymour Station.

The buggy operates from Monday to Friday meeting and assisting passengers from the car parks, taxi rank, local bus and connecting V/Line coach services to and from the station platforms.
