The Royal Botanical Gardens in Melbourne are well worth a visit!

Partnering with the Royal Botanical Gardens, our Companion Service volunteers are available to support people with disabilities or those with additional mobility requirements travelling to Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne, from Monday to Friday.

Melbourne’s botanic gardens are a true treasure and with most areas of the gardens accessible by walker and wheelchair. A Travellers Aid companion volunteer can meet you at a public transport hub and provide wheelchair assistance or personal guidance to and from the Gardens or provide mobility assistance during one of their tours.  Travellers Aid team members were delighted to join Uncle Den on the Aboriginal Heritage Walk and highly recommend it to other RBG visitors.
