Six months on, Travellers Aid Geelong is helping more people travel with confidence and independence.
It’s hard to believe that Travellers Aid Geelong has already been supporting the local community for over six months. Since commencement, the team has helped people travelling to and from Geelong access practical assistance and maintain their independence, making travel more accessible and inclusive for people of all ages and abilities.
We are grateful for the warm welcome we’ve received from the Geelong community and our partners at V/Line. Site Supervisor Deb and our amazing volunteers have been working hard to build strong relationships with local organisations, transport providers and community groups, all of whom share our commitment to helping people stay connected to work, education, healthcare and community. As demand for our services continues to grow, we’re excited to support even more people in Geelong and across all of our service hubs throughout Victoria.
