Our Community Education presentations are designed to help people better understand the support available to make travel easier, safer and more accessible.
Whether you’re part of a seniors group, disability support organisation, multicultural community group, volunteer network or local club, these interactive sessions provide valuable information about Travellers Aid’s services and how to access them.
With more than 110 years of supporting Victorians to travel with confidence and independence, Travellers Aid understands that knowing where to find assistance can make all the difference. Our presentations are an opportunity to learn about the practical supports available and ask questions in a welcoming and engaging environment.
Sessions can be tailored for both small and large groups and encourage participants to share their experiences, ask questions and learn from one another.
Topics covered include:
- The history of Travellers Aid and how we can assist you
- Locations of our services
- Hours of operation
- Services available at each location
- Group travel support
- Questions and discussion with participants
Whether you’re planning a meeting, community event or information session, our team can adapt the presentation to meet the needs and interests of your group.
By increasing awareness of available supports, we can help more people access employment, education, healthcare, social activities and community life through accessible travel.
