Travellers Aid Australia respects and is committed to protecting the privacy and security of client, customer and company personal information.
Our Privacy Policy is guided by and in keeping with Victorian Information Privacy Act 2000, the Victorian Health Records Act 2001, as well as other laws, which impose specific obligations when it comes to handling information. Personal information is any information that can be used to identify you and includes sensitive and health information.
We follow the Principles contained in the Information Privacy Act in handling personal information from clients/beneficiaries, business partners, donors, members of the public and our People (including members, volunteers, employees, candidates for volunteer work and prospective employees).
Please be assured that wherever possible Travellers Aid Australia uses information in a de-identified form. Personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without your permission, except where permitted or required under the Information Privacy Act. You have the right to request your information be removed from the Travellers Aid Australia database at any time.
The primary purpose for collecting personal information from you is for our service provision. The kind of information we collect will depend on your relationship with Travellers Aid Australia (e.g. as a client/service user, donor, business partner, employee, volunteer or member, on line user of the Travellers Aid Australia website).

Website information
Travellers Aid Australia uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from Travellers Aid Australia only last while you are browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer. Cookies also allow us to give you a more personalised shopping experience by displaying products that interest you throughout our product pages, thus providing you with a more friendly, interesting and enjoyable shopping experience.

Online payments
Online payment is possible through the eWay portal and by PayPal. Travellers Aid Australia does not charge transaction fees, however please check with your credit card provider or financial institution for other fees or charges.
Refund Policy
Please choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision. Should you wish to withdraw your donation please contact our Fundraising Department on (03) 9654 2600 or fundraising@travellersaid.org.au.
