You will find the Travellers Aid Buggy Service at Southern Cross Station Melbourne, Seymour Station in regional Victoria and for a limited time near Richmond Station for the duration of the 2018 AFL season. It is available to all people, including seniors, people with disabilities, people with injuries or anyone suffering from illness as they travel.
Southern Cross Station and Seymour Station buggy bookings must be made 24 hours in advance to ensure you are met from your car, train, bus, airport transfer or taxi platform. If you are commencing your onward journey at Southern Cross Station, the buggy service also leaves from the Travellers Aid lounge and will?ensure you are on time for your connecting service.
The MCG Transfer Buggy Service is a trial service available for the duration of the 2018 AFL season and does not require bookings.
The Melbourne Cricket Club has partnered with Travellers Aid to conduct the program, which also has the support of Metro Trains, City of Melbourne and the AFL Fans Association.
Buggies, each capable of transporting five guests, are available for every MCG game of the 2018 season from at least 60 minutes prior to the first bounce. Buggies depart from Yarra Park, across the road from the Brunton Avenue end of Richmond Station. Buggies will also be available for 30 minutes after the final siren for return trips, departing from nominated drop-off points outside the stadium gates.
Southern Cross Station
Southern Cross Station is Melbourne’s largest public transport hub. Servicing both metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria it has 16 train platforms, a bus depot, airport transfers, a taxi rank and several tram stops right at its doorstep.
Travellers Aid provides a free Buggy Service to assist people with mobility needs who are transiting through Southern Cross Station.
Our three buggies operate 7 days a week meeting and assisting passengers as they can connect with other modes of transport on their journey.

Seymour Railway Station
Seymour Railway Station is a transport hub and bus interchange in regional Victoria. It has 3 train platforms that are a minimum of 200m from the car park and bus stops via a wheelchair accessible access tunnel.
Travellers Aid provides a free Buggy Service to assist people with mobility needs who are transiting through Seymour Station.
The buggy operates from Monday to Friday meeting and assisting passengers from the car parks, taxi rank, local bus and connecting V/Line coach services to and from the station platforms.
