Volunteers

Travellers Aid can offer many opportunities to people who are interested in volunteering with us. The volunteer roles we have on offer are as varied as the people who apply to assist us. There are numerous ways to become involved, all of them greatly appreciated by Travellers Aid.

Research shows that people are healthier and happier when they live in strong, active communities to which they feel connected. Research also indicates that strong communities are better able to assist people living with disabilities, people experiencing unemployment and victims of crime.

If you're interested in becoming involved with Travellers Aid as a volunteer, please email Sian Whalley, our Community Relations Manager and Volunteer Coordinator at sian@travellersaid.org.au

Donations/Bequests

In order to ensure the on-going survival and development of Travellers Aid, the organisation relies on the generous support of many people. Donations help us provide a level of care and support that is vital for people of all ages, at a time when their travel options are reduced and their mobility restricted.

Travellers Aid is a non-sectarian and non-political public benevolent institution. We are not required to pay State or Federal taxes on gifts or bequests, and all donations over $2 are tax deductible. If you would like to donate, please continue through to Travellers Aid's secure 'Our Community' website, by clicking here.

Alternatively, you can complete and print out the form, and mail it to us at Level 3, 225 Bourke street, Melbourne Vic 3000.

Travellers Aid greatly appreciates the warmth and generousity that has enabled our organisation to continue to support the disadvantaged for over 90 years.
