Making everyday travel possible for all people

Travellers Aid Australia provides emergency help for people who are stranded, in danger or facing some other kind of travel-related emergency.

Some might be fleeing domestic violence. Some may be simply unable to get home. Others are homeless and need to get somewhere safe.

Travellers Aid also provides a guide and buggy service for people who have mobility or vision impairment. There are showers and sleep rooms for people who may urgently need to rest (for example if they are pregnant or unwell).

Fully-equipped toilets are provided for people with disabilities, there are internet facilities at both Flinders Street and Southern Cross services and free personal care for people with disabilities.
